Free Alongside Ship

Free Alongside Ship

This is a delivery term used in international trade involving sea and inland waterway transport, where the cost of the goods and inland transport to the port are paid. It means that the seller delivers the goods by placing them on board the vessel selected by the buyer at the designated loading port, customs cleared for export. From the moment of delivery, risks such as loss or damage to the goods are borne by the buyer. From this point onwards, all costs and freight charges related to the goods are borne by the buyer.
